Day 1 Arrival – Transfer in
Upon arrival at the airport, our driver is ready to meet you. Then transfer to your accommodation.
Day 2 Sultan Palace – Borobudur
Pick up from your accommodation in the morning, we will Yogyakarta city tour. The main point is by visiting Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta. The building represents the finest example of Javanese architecture though in some parts there is influence of Portuguese, Dutch, even Chinese architecture. Then the tour continues to Taman Sari (Water Castle). Continue to see process of making silver handicraft in Kota Gede. This place is supposed to be the center of silver of Indonesia providing beautiful handicrafts; rings, necklace etc.
Afternoon, visiting Borobudur temple.
Borobudur temple is the biggest Buddhist relics in South East Asia and as a monument which consists of six square platforms. The wall is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 statues. The main dome (bell shape), is located at the center of the top platform and surrounded by 72 stupas. We will follow few stories of Sidarta life by following the panel by walking clockwise. Arriving the top means reaching perfectness.
Day 3 Breksi – Barong Temple Soft Trekking – Prambanan Temple
This morning we go to Breksi Clift for you to start trekking to Barong temple through villages, field etc. see their local activities. You can surely make contact with them. It is the way how you understand real Indonesia.
Arriving in Barong temple, then explore the hidden beauty of it.
Afternoon going to Prambanan temple which is supposed to be the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, and is the most beautiful Hindus temples in Southeast Asia.
It is characterized by its tall and pointed architecture, typical of Hindu temple architecture, and by the towering 47m high central building inside a large complex of individual temples.
This complex consists of three main temples namely Shiva temple which is located in the middle and the tallest among the others, while the other two main temples are Brahma and Wisnu.
Day 4 Village Biking – Jamu Herb Process – Malioboro
In the morning, we go to Ngino village, where you will start biking through villages to see local people activities. At the end of biking you may enjoy young coconut water at Omah Kecebong.
Then we will see how to make jamu (Javanese traditional herb) and you will learn its ingredients and its function for your health.
Afternoon, make a relax walk in malioboro street
Day 5 Transfer Out
Transfer to the airport of Yogyakarta for you to get a flight for your next destination
