Day 1 Yogyakarta arrival
Upon arrival in the morning at airport or train station in Yogyakarta, our guide and driver are ready to meet you.
Day 2 Borobudur temple - Yogyakarta City Tour
Borobudur temple will be the first point to start your tour in Yogyakarta. This temple is well known as one of the seven wonder s in the world. Explore the magnificent temple and follow the life of Buddha carved on the walls. The other two small temples, Pawon and Mendut on the pilgrims way to Borobudur, are the next points to visit on the way back to Yogyakarta. The morning will be concluded with the Sultan's Palace of Yogyakarta where you may also see the life of Yogyakarta Palace from close by. You will also understand the cultural mix of Hindu, Moslem and animistic influences. A visit of Yogyakarta without going to Kota Gede as the centre town of silver is not complete. You will find a lot of industries ranging from home industry to big companies providing beautiful silver handicrafts.
Day 3 Solo - Prambanan temple Tour
In the morning you depart from Yogyakarta to Solo (or Surakarta) to visit Mangkunegaran Palace and the antique market (option). This town is really the elder brother of Yogyakarta. Returning from Solo, you visit on the way the Prambanan Temple. This Hindu temple is the highest one in Indonesia and known also as Rara Jonggrang Temple. In the evening, after having dinner, you can enjoy the beauty of a Ramayana dance performance.
Day 4 Transfer out
Free for your own program until departure time, when we will pick you up and bring you to the next destination in Yogyakarta (airport, or train station)
