Alas River White Rafting
Day 1 Medan – Brastagi
Upon arrival in Medan drive to Brastagi the highland of Batak Karo people, arrival at Brastagi check in to hotel Mega View and dinner.
Day 2 Brastagi - Alas River
A leisure morning star the tour of all the sights of an east – to west Tran Sumatra drive, wi th an air condition bus, by lunch time to Alas river, where the boats are ready and waiting to begin the half day of mild floating, through typical reverle Sumatra, down to a beach for the night in fix camp site.
Day 3 Alas River
After breakfast, the raft enter the lushly forested section of the fantastic gorge, the river canyon becomes an amphitheater of rain forest sights and sounds, in which the quality of the silence is superb. There are excellent opportunities for bird and wild life observation throughout the day, and some refreshing excitement in the form of two mild rapids. Tracking during the afternoon from the camp is optional, and the night is spent at the best locations at the confluence of the Renun and the Alas River.
Day 4 Alas River
This longest day of river journey generally begins with the eerie and unforgettable “Song of Siamang” the largest member of the gibbon family. There is time for bathing stops at some of numerous waterfalls which cascade over the limestone canyon cliffs, as well as tea and biscuit stop, photography, short treks and just absorbing the feel of the ancients tropical forest. This last night’s camp is on a river’s beach of lowland plains above the Indian Ocean.
Day 5 Alas River - Medan
In the early morning light after breakfast, an “african Queen” style boat, motor cruises down the rafts for two hours through the meandering “flats”, to late morning take out at the village of Gelombang. On the return drive, a picnic lunch is provided at the scenic high mountain pass. Overnight at the hotel Dharma Deli in Medan
Day 6 Transfer Out
After breakfast free at own leisure till time transfer to airport for your next destination.
