Indonesia Week 2009, info on Indonesia`s potentials

The trade, tourism, and investment exhibition "Indonesia Week 2009" from June 17 to 21 in Wang Fujing, Beijing, provided valuable information to the Chinese people and foreign visitors, Indonesian ambassador to China Sudrajat said.

Ambassador Sudrajat made the statement when attending the closing ceremony of the exhibition in Beijing Sunday.

He said the information given by the visitors at the event covered trade, tourism, and investment.

Meanwhile head of the social and cultural section at the Indonesian embassy in Beijing Rosmalawati Chalid said the even had drawn large crowds of people in Beijing, and China in general.

The participants in "Indonesia Week 2009" include state oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, the ministry of culture and tourism, ministry of trade, South Sumatra provincial administration, Garuda Indonesia, Sinar Mas, Yayasan Wallacea, Made in Indonesia, Kedaung, PT. Santos Kapal Api, Swallow Globe, Indonesia Street and the Indonesian embassy in Beijing.
